Liking the same music as somebody is a fun conversation-starter, but no basis for a friendship. You don’t need to like everyone who likes the same band as you.
Caveat: if you like everyone or look down on everyone in a particular fanbase, that says a lot about you and very little about that fanbase.

I hate hate hate it when someone calls me and doesn’t leave a message but I hate it even more if they do leave a message and all it says is like “hey its _____, please call me back” but they don’t say what it’s about at all. SO annoying.
